Add Pinterest Pin It Button To WordPress Page & Post

I was working on one web design project for vintage event/theme rental company, Intaglio Vintage of which you have seen the teaser on my Facebook Page. And since Pinterest has been very common for the owners, I propose the idea of adding the Pinterest Pin It button for their blog post and inventories.

After researching for some plugin or similar feature for this, I only found the Pin It Button for the Bookmark on Website Browser. You can use it by simply dragging the button to your bookmark of either Safari, Chrome, or Firefox.

Another one is Pinterest Follow Button, which I have also added on Intaglio Vintage’s website header. Pinterest also provide the Pin It button for website which I thought could be the solution for this project. Sadly, this only works if you set the url of the website and url to the image of which you want people to pin. In the plus side, it works like the Facebook Like button as it comes with the count bubble.

Then I decided to grab the code from the Pin It Button for Bookmark, attach it on a button and add it to the website. After few test and help from PiotrKrzyzek.com, I managed to add the Pin It button (Designed by Chykalophia Design) to the end of the blog post as shown on the image below.

So now, how did we do it you ask? Here’s the cheat code you can use:

ps: Place the cheat code above under the content of your post or page. Do not forget to set the to your Pin it Button. Then, you can style it using CSS. :)

Wedding is the word which made some people jump happily for you and congrats you right away. To some other it means serious (mostly for all the guys). Though, however it means to any other people is definitely different. And for today I combine the two words in one, wedding+giveway= YEY!

Just like every other grown up women out there who already got engaged, I am currently busy planning my Summer Wedding in between work. I’m a graphic and web designer, therefore I wanted the invitation set and most of the print design based on what I want it to be.

After couple of weeks looking through various wedding invitation design set, I decided to customized it my self. I wanted it too look old-classic yet elegant. The idea is to use textured paper with elegant typography and silhouette illustration of my fiance and I, which I have edited to suit the wedding scene. Previously I have designed the silhouette illustration of us for his Valentine Present. Below are the color palette I have for the wedding and the computer rendering for the final wedding invitation.

You would notice that I didn’t make the complete set for the invitation. My fiance and I are both geek, therefore we decided to let the guest to RSVP online through our wedding website so we can easily track our guests. Now here’s the great part of today’s special post. I’m giving 2 lucky couple FREE wedding designs related.

Love is in the air, or so people said and keep talking about since the beginning of this month. Well, how can they ignore the day of love when almost every single person worldwide planing and preparing what to do and where to go on the Valentine’s day with their couple or even what Valentine’s gift will they give to their beloved one.
