Support Pink – Designs for Breast Cancer Month

Breast cancer has become an international awareness of which happen annually in October. With so many foundations, organizations to companies trying to support the cause of Support Pink, I found some best artwork in graphic design and multimedia that deliver the message and ideas. Though, since the Support Pink campaign is not limited to the organizations, I also have seen individuals supporting this cause by changing their profile picture to something pink and with the little pink ribbon on it. If you haven’t check yet, I did the same think for Chykalophia Design Facebook Page and Google + account. So go ahead and take a look at some designs for the breast cancer month and don’t forget to support the cause.

Custom Wedding Invitation Set – Letterpress Print

Last February I held a custom wedding invitation contest for future brides and grooms who are still planning for their upcoming wedding. One of the winners for the contest is Carly & Kirk with their destination wedding to Cabo, Mexico. I received their invitation set on the mail and really thrilled to see the beautiful design for their wedding invitation on letterpress print.

Even though we have to made some changes on the invitation original design, the print version looks great on letterpress. Feel free to take a look and let me know what do you think of it.

You Start Here On Xheight

A month ago, founder of Lovedsgn David Bushell reached to me. He got a new blog idea where designers can learn and read the insight xheight authors experiences and advices about life and design.

The concept of “what design means to you” means writing about your personal theory and experience in design. Nothing practical or directly relating to projects, more on your own ethos, attitude and ideas. Perhaps centering around a particular theme. Something to make other designers think about their practices.

He named in xheight, the blog has the same idea I wish I found many years ago. Even though this is a new blog brought by David for us, I’m excited to be part of it as one of the guest author. We believe this blog will help other designers to help them think, gain experiences, and learn from our mistakes in the scope of being a designer.

My first article for xheight “You Start Here” was published last Monday. You can check out the article here, feel free to leave comment and go read on more insights from other professional designers who have wrote for xheight as well. We hope it could help you think and grow :)
