Accessibility statement

How we make the Chykalophia website usable for everyone, what still falls short, and how to tell us about a barrier.

Last updated: November 4, 2026

Our goal

We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use a keyboard instead of a mouse, a screen reader, voice control, screen magnification, or high-contrast settings.

We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. That is the standard most accessibility laws, including the ADA in the United States, point to.

What we have done

In November 2026 we audited this site, our help docs at docs.chykalophia.com, and our other sites against WCAG 2.2 AA. We used automated scanners, a full keyboard-only pass, and screen-reader checks of every page type. We then fixed what we found, including:

  • A visible focus outline on every link, button, and form field, with a "Skip to main content" link at the top of each page.
  • Text and button colors that meet contrast requirements, in light and dark mode and in Windows High Contrast.
  • Clear names for icon buttons, links that open a new tab, and form fields.
  • A pause button for moving animations, and respect for your device's "reduce motion" setting.
  • Headings and page landmarks in a logical order, so screen readers can jump around a page.

We check new pages and features against the same standard before they go live.

Known limitations

A few parts of the site come from other companies, and we can't fully control them:

  • The booking form on Start a project is provided by HoneyBook. Some parts of it may be hard to use with a keyboard or screen reader. We have raised this with HoneyBook. If it gets in your way, email us instead and we will book your call by hand.
  • Embedded videos come from their providers and use those providers' players.

Tell us about a barrier

If anything on this site is hard to use, or you need information in a different format, please tell us. Email hello@chykalophia.com and include the page address and what went wrong. We aim to reply within two business days.
