What it does
Punctual keeps your current or next meeting in the macOS menu bar, with a live countdown, and puts the Join button where you already look.
Join in one click.
Punctual finds the meeting link in the invite (Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and 50+ others) and opens it in the app or browser you choose.
Reminders that reach you.
Meeting alerts are time-sensitive, so they still get through when a Focus mode is on.
Your whole day at a glance.
Click the menu bar for an agenda of today, a month and week calendar, and today's reminders.
Build your own menu bar.
Choose what shows: the meeting title, a countdown, the time, a progress bar, the date, a world clock.
All your calendars.
Works with everything already in the macOS Calendar app (iCloud, Google, Exchange and more), or connect Google Calendar directly. Use both at once; each meeting shows up once.
Keyboard first.
A command bar finds any meeting by typing.
Private by design
Punctual runs on your Mac. It has no server, no account, and no analytics, and it sends Chykalophia nothing. When you connect Google Calendar, your data goes straight between your Mac and Google with read-only access, and you can disconnect at any time.
Read the privacy policyBuilt on MeetingBar
Punctual is built on MeetingBar, the open-source menu-bar meeting app by Andrii Leitsius and the MeetingBar contributors. Their work is the foundation: the calendar plumbing, the meeting-link detection, and the reliability-first approach all started with them.
Punctual is a separate app with its own name, design and roadmap, maintained by Chykalophia and released under the same Apache License 2.0. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the MeetingBar project. Thank you, Andrii, and everyone who built MeetingBar.
Free and open source
Punctual is free, and its source code is public. Read it, build it yourself, report a bug, or suggest a feature.
